Fountain of Love Kingdom Ministries Core Beliefs

Bible

We believe the Bible to be the complete Word of God.

  • That the 66 books of the Old and New Testament were inspired by the Spirit of God as originally written
  • That the Bible is the final authority in all matters of faith and conduct · 2 Timothy 3:16

God

We believe in one God, Creator of all, holy, sovereign, eternal, existing in three equal Persons: the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit

Jesus Christ

We believe in the absolute and essential deity of our Lord Jesus Christ

  • In His eternal existence, with the Father in pre-incarnate glory
  • In His work of creation, in His virgin birth, sinless life, substitutionary death, and bodily resurrection
  • In His triumphant ascension, mediatorial ministry, and personal return

The Holy Spirit

We believe in the absolute and essential deity, and the personality, of the Holy Spirit

  • Who convinces of sin, of righteousness, and of judgment
  • Who regenerates, indwells, seals, sanctifies, illuminates, and comforts those who believe in Jesus Christ
  • Who baptizes believers at conversion into the Body of Christ and bestows upon them His gifts sovereignly as He wills and fills those yielded to Him
  • Holy Spirit is also the governor of heaven, sent to earth to dwell in Kingdom citizens to carry out the kingdom mandate of the Great Commission.

Mankind

We believe that mankind was divinely created in the image of God, starting with Adam and Eve

  • That by the sin of disobedience, he fell from that state and lost a kingdom
  • That all his posterity inherited spiritual depravity and defilement
  • That all men therefore are guilty before God and condemned to physical and spiritual death

Salvation

We believe that salvation is by the sovereign grace of God

  • That by the Father, Christ voluntarily suffered a propitiatory death
  • That justification is by faith alone in the all-sufficient sacrifice and resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ
  • That those whom God has effectually called shall be divinely preserved and ultimately perfected in the image of the Lord
  • That those believing on the Lord Jesus Christ shall be saved and enter into the Kingdom of God

The Five-Fold Ascension Gifts

We believe the five-fold acension gifts—Apostle, Prophet, Evangelist, Pastor, and Teacher—were given by Jesus Christ to the body of believers for the equipping of the saints, for the work of the ministry, and for the building up of the body of Christ. These acension gifts shall not cease until we all come into the knowledge of the Son of God, into a complete man, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ. Ephesians 4:11–16

The Governing Ministries

We believe the apostles and prophets are the governmental ministries that establish the foundation and biblical doctrine in the church. (Ephesians 2:20; 3:5)

The Apostolic Government

We believe in establishing the apostolic government within the local church, with the apostle as the head and the prophet as part of the government, followed by elders and teachers. (Ephesians 4:11; Acts 14:23; 1 Corinthians 12:28)

Kingdom of God

We believe that the only message Jesus preached was the "Kingdom of God." The message behind the Kingdom of God was the restoring of a Kingdom back to earth in the hearts of men and with full spiritual authority. This was the purpose of the Great Commission: to create a citizenry that produces a heavenly culture and reflects God's nature or glory in the earth. Dominion and power belong to the Church. When I say Church, I don't mean a physical building where people gather for a service. What I  mean is that dominion and power have been given to a building made of flesh and blood: mankind! Adam surrendered the Kingdom, and Jesus Christ came to reclaim that Kingdom and give it back to the human race. The earth is our King-domain. (Genesis 1:26–28; Psalm 115:16; Isaiah 45:18; Matthew 4:17; Luke 4:43; Acts 1:3; 28:30–31)
